Hi, y'all! I’m Nettie, and my love affair with Mahjong began after nearly three decades in ministry at the Tupelo Children's Mansion. After retirement, I realized I needed a hobby—and from my very first game, it was love at first mahj! I’m passionate about bringing people together, building community, and creating moments of joy. When I’m not teaching or playing Mahjong, you’ll find me with family, playing pickleball, traveling, spending time with friends, or serving at my church.

To me, Mahjong is more than just a game. From the soothing shuffle of the tiles to the laughter around the table, it creates connection in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
